Smith's Diamond Sharpening Stones feature multiple layers of micron-sized Monocrystalline diamonds that are securely bonded in nickel to a flat metal surface.

The sharpening surface has a unique, overlapping hole design that speeds sharpening by collecting and holding the metal fillings that ordinarily build up during the sharpening process.

This allows the diamond abrasive to remain clean and clear and enables you to aggressively sharpen your knife or tool edge to razor sharpness.

During use, the plastic lid can be inserted into the bottom of the diamond stone base to extend the height of the base and make sharpening your knife safer.

The user's fingers grip lower on the base and remove any chance of cutting your fingers when pulling or pushing the knife's cutting edge across the sharpening surface.
